Transformers with the slogan "Their Wars, Our World" begins with the introduction of the Cube (AllSpark) which is the raw energy source believed exists before the time, created by unknown, contains massive raw unknown energy capable to give life of all electro-mechanical objects to be transformed into secondary form, source life of Cybertron (the home planet of Transformers, both Autobots and Decepticon).
Then the movie displays the daily military camp-life on United States of America Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) base on Qatar, which were shocked by an attack from the transformed MH-53J Pave Low III (BlackOut, Decepticon side), which objective to retrieve information of the location of the Cube and Megatron (by Hugo Weaving). Response of the United States of America Department of Defense is to initiate the gathering of top scientists and students to crack the code infiltrated the Department of Defense secure communication channel, which believe is the living program that capable to penetrate and retrieve information within the attacked military base. The event linked to the appearance of secret military department Sector Seven which is unknown even to John Keller, the United States of America Secretary of Defense (Jon Voight).
Meanwhile, the teenage Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) is fighting for his school grade to get an A, to get his father promise of getting his first car, which happened to be 1976 Chevrolet Camaro (Bumblebee, Autobots side). Sam needs the car to get close to the hottest girl in school, Mikaela Banes (by Megan Fox). In the middle of one night, Sam was shocked that someone has started his 1976 Chevrolet Camaro and considered it is stolen, in pursuing his car, Sam reported to the police that his car is living and standing on its own feet, the police assumed that Sam was under drug administration, which found in Sam pocket and uses in administration of Sam’s Chihuahua dog. The next day, Sam was chased by his own 1976 Chevrolet Camaro, and accidentally involving Mikaela Banes, the hottest girl in school who Sam love to pursue. The chase then involving Barricade (Decepticon side) and retrieving the e-Bay identity to get to the glasses which Sam’s great-great grandfather used in Arctic circle upon the finding of frozen Megatron. The glass contains the coordinate of the Cube. Before Sam and Mikaela eyes, both 1976 Chevrolet Camaro (Bumblebee, Autobots side) and Saleen S281 Police Car (Barricade, Decepticon side) transform and fight each other.
It is up to human, Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes, who later connected to United States Department of Defense, Secretary of Defense, John Keller, and Sector Seven Agent Simmons (by John Turturro) to choose side whether Autobots (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Jazz, IronHide, and Ratchet) or Decepticon (Megatron, StarScream, Barricade, Brawl, BlackOut). It is the war between Autobots and Decepticon, happen in our world, Earth.
