Transformers – Revenge of The Fallen begins with the introduction that several thousands years ago, the ancient Transformers leaders known as Dynasty of Primes searches the Energon power source to maintain the power contains in the AllSpark that powering Cybertron. However, one of the seven Dynasty of Primes, The Fallen, was disagree to spare the planet Earth, thus build the machine to harvest the Sun to power-up AllSpark. The other six pursues The Fallen and take by force the key to activate the Sun Harvester, known as Matrix of Leadership, then sacrifice themselves in the effort to hide it.
On Earth, join forces between AutoBots lead by Optimus Prime and human lead to the joint operation called NEST, which objective is to annihilate the remaining Decepticon on Earth. Meanwhile, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) have to go to college and leave his Bumblebee at home, he choose to live his life as a normal youth. However, during packing, Sam drops his piece of the Cube taken from previous war between AutoBots and Decepticon. The effects were that Sam’s brain filled with Cybertronian characters and the piece of The Cube powering all electro-mechanical home appliances within the house vicinity to become small pieces of Transformers. Having consider it is dangerous, Sam handed over the piece of The Cube to his girlfriend, Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox), and warned her to keep it safe far beyond touching it.
On the collage, Sam meets Leo Spitz (Ramon Rodríguez), his room-mates who happened to run a website cover-up secret findings and operation, to proof alien presence on Earth. During his first days in college, Sam unable to control himself regarding the Cybertronian characters inside his brain, that lead him to exposed it in front of class and paint his room. This events leads to Alice (a Pretender, Decepticon side, by Isabel Lucas), who become the hottest female student in the college, pursued by Leo Spitz, revealed as Decepticon Pretender before the presence of Sam, Mikaela, and Leo.
The events put Sam, Mikaela, and Leo to meet the master of Cybertronian Characters, who happened to be the number one rival of Leo’s website and former Sector Seven Agent Seymour Simmons (John Turturro) posed as butcher upon the closing down the Sector Seven, which impacting Agent Simmons payroll and retirement, due to the secrecies nature of the institution. Once again, the normal life which Sam dream about have to reside awhile in order to continue to assist AutoBots in battle to fight Decepticon in order to find the Matrix of Leadership to revive the Sun Harvester by The Fallen.
